Mexisquito

So while pouring blood, sweat and tears into a fresh, new portfolio for a job application, Pandora found this most bizarre song I've ever heard. It involved something along the lines of a very depressed trumpet and piano.

But that trumpet (perhaps a trombone? I can't discern) sounded far too similar to a buzzing mosquito. And so this image came to mind. xD I went crazy with the rendering - it was supposed to be just a sketch.

I probably could have added some rocks and pebbles, and maybe a little round cactus in the foreground, but I like how the void of the desert lends itself to this sad sad, lonely drunk.

Here's some trivia: mosquitoes generally feed on nectar, and the ones that bite are only ever female.
